LIMA township adds study in its live-work-play offering

PropertyfindsAsia.com | AboitizLand, the property development arm of the Aboitiz group of companies, lives up to its philosophy of creating better ways to live, this time, by promoting access to quality education. It recently partnered with Edustria Senior High School, a joint venture between the Far Eastern University (FEU) and the Technological Institute of the Philippines (T.I.P.), which will open its first campus at The Outlets at Lipa, Batangas, the commercial component of the 600-hectare mixed-use township LIMA Estate.

Edustria aims to provide industry-relevant education that enables its students to achieve meaningful careers, economic upliftment, and life aspirations. It will offer three academic strands with specialized curricula, namely: Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), Accountancy, Business and Management (ABM), and General Academic Strand (GAS).

But the collaboration goes beyond providing physical space for Edustria. Part of the partnership involves providing Edustria’s students internship and potential job opportunities with the local and multinational companies currently located at LIMA Technology Center, offering traditional classroom discussions reinforced by a comprehensive work immersion program.

Edustria’s facilities include air-conditioned, multimedia-equipped classrooms, and Wi-Fi internet hotspots around the campus. The school also operates learning and other support facilities such as a fully-stacked library, a guidance and counseling center.

The campus occupies a spot at the premiere lifestyle destination The Outlets at Lipa, which is conveniently located right at the entrance of LIMA Estate. It is fringed by retail shops, restaurants and other specialty stores that can fulfill the needs and whims of students and visitors. The newly opened commercial development, LIMA Exchange, situated right across The Outlets houses a transit hub, fast food outlets, Robinsons Supermarket, and soon a multi-sports gym.

Accessible   via   public   transportation   passing   through   the   national   J.P.   Laurel   Highway, Edustria’s strategic location is advantageous for both students residing outside the township and for prospective residents of The Villages at Lipa.

The Villages at Lipa is part of the development that completes the residential segment of LIMA Estate for a fully authentic live, work, play and additionally, study concept.

Another highly anticipated development is the six-tower BPO office complex that aims to address the demands of this continuously expanding sector. Situated within a PEZA-registered area, prospective locators will enjoy fiscal and non-fiscal incentives amid a burgeoning estate.

Wholly-owned by AboitizLand, LIMA Estate is en route to become a world-class business hub, commercial and residential destination in the progressive province of Batangas.
